Click on the 'Recovered' at the status bar and the document recovery task pane will appear. The task pane the available list of the files that are recovered can be found. The user can also find three options for the recovered files: save as, open and delete. The user should click on the 'Open' to review the recovered file and can save the copy of the file by clicking on the 'Save' as option.
If the file is opened in the protected view and closes accidentally, then the document recovery task pane appears with little changes like save option disabled and the shield icon appears near to the file and also the file will open again in protected view only. Enable the auto save feature to reduce the chances of losing the files accidentally.
