Microsoft® Word 2010

WordArt has been a traditional feature in Microsoft Word and with the new and improved WordArt in Microsoft Word 2010, you can apply formatting effects such as shadow, bevel, glow, gradient glow, and reflection to their document text.
Microsoft Word 2010 can be used to type letters, reports and other documents. You can use it for desktop publishing and much more. Microsoft Office 2010 also includes a tutorial which teaches Microsoft Word 2010 basics. This tutorial is created for the computer beginner since Microsoft Word 2010 is a little bit different from its predecessors.
It has been three years since Microsoft Word 2007 was released to the public, and now Microsoft Word 2010 is just around the corner. The new version of Microsoft ubiquitous word processor boasts some impressive new features like Artistic Effects, Paste preview, Background Removal tool etc.
FIVE: Integration of Screenshot feature in Microsoft Word
If you are fed up of using the snipping tools or print screen buttons then Microsoft Word 2010 offers an easy solution to this problem. You can take screenshots directly from the Word document you are working on. The option of screenshot is incorporated in the ribbon at the top of Word document. As you click screenshot button, you automatically get few screenshot samples. You can either choose a screenshot from the available samples or click on “Screen clipping” to take another screenshot yourself.
FOUR: Drag-and-drop navigation pane
Another attractive feature Microsoft Word 2010 is the new drag-and-drop navigation pane. It’s a little bit same as the Microsoft Word 2007 document map. While the document map in Microsoft Word 2007 only gives you a outlook of your headers and document sections etc., the navigation pane in Microsoft Word 2010 allows you to organize your documents easily by just dragging and dropping within the pane.
THREE: Open in Protected View
When you open an existing document for the first time in Microsoft Word 2010, nothing will happen if you try to edit that document. The Ribbon is also hidden. Microsoft Word 2010 opens a new document for the first time in Protected View. A red box across the top of the document shows that you are in Protected View and shows that the file is originated from the Internet. This tells you that the file is safe to open.
TWO: Artistic Effects
The new Microsoft Word 2010 application includes a number of new artistic effects. With Microsoft Word 2010 Artistic effects, you get a bunch of new options like Pencil Sketch, Chalk Sketch, Glowy Edges, Photocopy etc. You can choose an image and click on “Artistic Effects” from the ribbon to give a new look to your image.
ONE: Ligatures
Ligatures generally substitute successive characters which are shared by common components. However, the application and the system still acknowledges the characters in its components in this way enabling spell checks and search services. Ligatures can be used in Microsoft Word 2010 only if they are present in the font.
If you are looking for a multipurpose device, with which you can use to write, copy, edit, and also perform creative things like add photos and effect to your documents then Microsoft Word 2010 is the right choice.
