Add a Stopwatch to Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 Presentations

For people who are giving presentations to a gathering, time is of great importance. They cannot afford to lose time else they would not finish their presentation within the stipulated period. When the presentation is on a slideshow and you’re busy presenting the slides and narrating your presentation, you could create a stopwatch in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 presentations that could control the time you spend on each slide! This feature can not only time each slide in your presentation, it can also turn your presentation into a masterpiece.
Did you know about this feature earlier? If not, this is the chance for you to actually learn and start implementing it.
Let us find out how you can create stop watches in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010.
This feature can be found in the tab ‘Slide Show’. Once you’re on the tab in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, you need to select the option ‘Set Up Slide Show’ to proceed further. Once you select that option, a small window would appear on the screen, which would help you set up stopwatch for your presentations. There’s an option ‘Using timings, if present’ which you need to select and save the selection to save your preferences.
You need to set the timings elsewhere. On the same tab ‘Slide Show’ there’s an option called ‘Rehearse Timings’, which you need to select to set the timing for the slides. Once you select that option slideshow would start playing. You can change the time you need for each slide on the same tab. In this way, all your slides will only be displayed for a stipulated time before the next one is displayed on the screen.
