Microsoft OneNote Web App extends your Microsoft OneNote experience to the web browser, wherein you are allowed to work with notebooks directly on the website where the notebook is stored. Microsoft OneNote Web App is part of Microsoft Office Web Apps are available in Windows Live and are used in organizations that have configured Microsoft Office Web Apps on Microsoft SharePoint 2010. You may create a notebook in the Microsoft OneNote. You can post it on a website so others can read it, maybe even contribute to it. In the Microsoft OneNote 2010, you are allowed to start using Microsoft OneNote Web App by saving your notebook to Windows Live SkyDrive or your Microsoft SharePoint library. Viewing notebook
You are allowed to view your notebook with your browser at great ease. In the Reading view, you can view different sections and pages of the notebook, and expand and collapse sections in the navigation pane. If others have been working on the same notebook, you can also view which users did what by clicking the 'Show Authors' command. If you need to make changes to the notebook, you can click Edit in Browser to add and delete content, format text, and tag notes.

You can open your notebook in the Windows Live or Microsoft SharePoint, the Microsoft OneNote Web App opens the notebook in the browser. You can type and format text as you normally would, then you can use copy/paste and undo/redo commands. You are also allowed to format text by applying styles and all the text formatting choices that you see on the ribbon. Also, you can add tables, pictures, clip art, and hyperlinks. The clip art comes from the collection of images available from the Microsoft Office website. You can go to the Insert tab to add these. It gives the ease of editions, there is no need to save your changes. As Microsoft OneNote Web App saves your notebook automatically while you work on it. If you have made changes that you don't want to keep, use the Undo command.
You are also allowed to work with others, if you make your notebook available for others to edit. Your colleagues or your friends can work on the notebook at the same time when you are accessing or working on it. This works well for the notebooks where you are collecting information from a group of people, for example, a brainstorming session or a group project. Notebook functions like a wiki where everyone contributes, you can see who did what, and you can revert a page back to a previous version if required.
