First desktop app for Windows 8 Store is Microsoft Office 2010

With Windows 8 nearing the Release Preview Microsoft has release the first desktop app for the new operating system Windows 8. Microsoft Office 2010 is the first desktop app for Windows 8. Now, let us see in detail about this new application for Windows 8.
This application will be available to users on both the platforms or versions of the new operating system, which are the classic desktop version and the metro version. Similar to the productivity suite for earlier versions of the operating system from Microsoft, this new application is available to users for free to begin with. They later decide after the trial period finishes if they want to buy the application or not.
