Veodin is a Germany-based company that is in its growing stage. The company is into developing productivity software and is working on a program called Efficiency.
Efficiency is basically a program that works as a trainer for keyboard shortcuts. The whole idea is to take into account the daily activities of a user on the computer and learn what the user wants. As of now, this program provides support for Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel 2007 and 2010 versions.
Efficiency is available for free and is very useful for those who are slow with Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel of these two versions. It really makes working on these programs very easy. Using this app is also a very easy thing as it shows you all the shortcuts for the keyboard that are related to the mouse movements you make. This makes it very easy to learn all these shortcuts.
For instance, if you click on the Bold button, provided at the ribbon in Microsoft Excel, Efficiency will tell you that you can use Ctrl+2 the next time you wish to use Bold. The notification will come as a pop-up. Not only this, when you use Ctrl+2 the next time, Efficiency will encourage you by sending messages like ‘good job!’.
There are more than 150 shortcuts in Microsoft Excel alone and you can well imagine the speed and efficiency you will have if you learn all. Of course, you may think that the same purpose can be served by a printout having all these shortcuts, but then the way Efficiency teaches you, you can surely learn at a faster pace.
