Runtime Errors in Microsoft® Office 2010

Microsoft Office 2010 is one of the productivity suites for Microsoft Windows and is also the successor to Microsoft Office 2007. This Microsoft Office 2010 offers extended file format support, a refined user experience and user interface updates. Runtime errors occur if a program conflicts with the Mosdmn.exe files. Runtime Error5 would appear when you use the FrontPage program of the Microsoft Office. This is seen as “FPECOM Runtime error 5” or “Invalid procedure call or argument”. When you try to open the front page application, this error could be seen. This is caused by a certain add-on and 'bCenter Commerce Manager Add-In' is causing problems for the FrontPage program and would lead to the runtime Error. Runtime error 438 is caused by 'macro' when trying to use outdated functions and not working of that. This error would appear in this screen says like “Run-time error '438”²” or “Object does not support this property or method”.

Solution for runtime error5
The first step to fix this error is to remove the Central Commerce Manager add-in from your system. This could be done from the "Add / Remove Programs" section of Windows. This would basically allow your system to run as smoothly as possible without the add-in causing any issues. Then, you need to use registry cleaner to remove damaged options and settings by scanning through database. This would resolve the errors that come in screen and would also resolve the various issues that FrontPage / any other software is having on your system.
Solving runtime error 438
In order to remove the 438 error, the first step to fix is to uninstall the Microsoft Works add-in for Microsoft Office 2010. This would often cause conflict with the Microsoft Office software. This could be done by clicking on Start and then select Control Panel. Now, you need to select Add/Remove Programs, and then, locate the 'Microsoft Works' add-in. By removing that, you could stop any further conflict within your system. Then, you need to apply the Microsoft hotfix #50356. This is being especially designed to fix the problems that are causing the 438 error. As a result, it would allow you to quickly enable your system to run very smoothly and no need to uninstall the software.
The Mosearch.exe (Microsoft Office Search Service) and Mosdmn.exe (Microsoft Office 10 Search Filter Daemon) Startup items might be conflicting with some other programs which run in the background. Then clean boot the system with only MoSearch selected on the Startup menu to determine if this is the source of the conflict. To determine conflicting program, first click, Start and then select Run. Type msconfig.exe and click OK. On the Startup tab, you have to click to select one of the check boxes and click OK. Then restart the system by clicking OK. If this reproduces any error message, the last item added to the Startup menu is causing conflict.
