To customize toolbar in Microsoft® Office 2010, there are two ways, either move the toolbar or add, delete commands in the toolbar. Just besides the circular Microsoft button, there will be toolbar located. Right after it there must be a down arrow. Just click on the arrow and it will prompt for above the ribbon or show below it. Choose the option according to your will. To add a command to the toolbar, navigate to the ribbon and check for the buttons you will like to use on the toolbar tab, right click and click on the option which says Add to quick access toolbar.
To customize ribbon interface, click on file and options, click on customize ribbon. The customize window will allow you to add commands, add new tabs, change tabs, make new groups and change the order of tabs. Click on new tab button and there will be new tab panes appearing at the right hand side, with the help of add key, start adding the ribbon commands you would like to be there in new pane. Click on new group and give it a name. Choose on the icon for the new group and select the tab to move it up or down and click on Ok. The customization has been done.
