World’s favorite word processing application has a new version now! Microsoft Word 2013 is here. And it is here to impress. The Consumer Preview is here for you to try and it has a lot in store for you. Of all the application in the productivity suite in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word is the one that’s used the most. So let us look at some of the features and improvements that were made to this application.

This version was originally intended for Windows 8, the new operating system that Microsoft would be releasing. So you can see how the interface has changed so much for the new applications to fit in the new operating system which has a great new user interface that’s called MetroUI. They have introduced a new ‘Read Mode’ in the latest version. This is to allow users to improve the reading experience and make it similar to the reading experiences found in different devices.

Inserting videos also has been made easy in the latest version of this application. You can directly search for the videos from this application and then when you’re done finding the right video, or watching it, you can add it to your document without any difficulty.
