Assigning tasks made easy with Outlook 2010
If you are not taking complete advantage of Tasks feature in Microsoft Outlook 2010, you might be missing out on a lot! Tasks feature allows you to keep a track on who is doing what and the best part is that you can assign tasks to people from your Outlook. Isn’t that a great feature to have?
How-to Geek explains you why and how assigning tasks is made easy with Outlook 2010. There are a couple of ways for doing this. When you are creating a task, you can assign a task to someone when you click the button ‘Assign task’ on the Ribbon. The Window will change and you would be required to give the name / email id of the person who you are assigning the task to. This is the easiest way to assign a task to someone.
If you have already created a task and would like to assign it to someone, then you can access the task from the tasks pane on the right side of the window. You can access the ‘Assign Task’ option by right clicking on the task. And then you can follow the same process that’s mentioned in the above passage.
