The user interface in Microsoft Office 2010 has been completely redesigned. Microsoft Office Ribbon replaces the File menu. When you click the 'Office' button, you see the same basic commands that were found under the File menu. However, in Microsoft Office 2010, new options and commands are now available, such as Prepare and Publish which allows you to check a file for hidden metadata or personal information by pointing to Prepare and then clicking Inspect Document.
Microsoft Outlook Social Connector in Microsoft Office 2010 allows users to write emails while keeping track of their family, friends and colleagues by viewing status updates and past communication history with the individual.
