Read on to know more about these five great features of Microsoft Office 2010.
Pinning recent places along with documents
Pinning documents was a feature that Microsoft Office 2007 sported. In Microsoft Office 2010, they have taken it a step ahead. You can now pin places that you frequently visit along with the documents that you frequently access. You can find this feature at the same place where recent documents can be accessed.
Multiple exchange accounts.
We had written about this yesterday. You can now access Gmail from your Outlook inbox. It’s not limited to just Gmail, you can add multiple servers and receive mails from both the servers. Managing you emails is made easy with Microsoft Outlook 2010. This is a great feature in Outlook that will increase productivity and also ensures that you never miss reading an email ever again.
Screenshots in emails
You can now add screenshots in your emails. This process is made really easy for the end users. When you select the option to insert screenshot from Outlook 2010, it gives you the option of attaching the screenshots of all the existing opened windows. You can choose the one that you want to include and get done with it quickly. As simple as that!
 Multiple Excel windows setup
If you are using multiple screens, here’s some good news for you. You can now display multiple Excel workbooks at the same time. Just open two different sheets and Excel will open it in the same process and display them together side by side. Again, a simple affair when compared to opening two different sheets and resizing them to fit right next to each other.
Sendto OneNote folders
You can now send documents, emails, or other such material directly to your OneNote folders. Now, you can store and organize your information and data in a great way with this feature. OneNote blends with the complete suite so well in this version. Another reason to try Microsoft Office 2010 if you haven’t already!
